traditional bodywork & holistic massage therapy for body, mind & spirit

Rooted, Intentional, Intuitive
Welcome to Triple Feather Bodywork. I’m Amber, a Licensed Massage Therapist, offering grounded, lineage-based healing sessions in El Paso, Texas. I attended Zion Massage College in St. George, Utah. I have since studied Thai bodywork intensively in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
My work weaves together Thai, Ayurvedic, and Taoist massage styles, Indigenous healing traditions, and intuitive energy therapies. Each session is a ceremony of care— crafted to meet your physical, emotional, and energetic needs with intention and presence.
At Triple Feather, I bring ancient techniques to care for modern bodies. See descriptions of my offerings below. Reach out if you have any questions. Book now if you’re ready to gift your whole self this time and care.

Thai Bodywork
-
Nuad Bo-Rarn, also known as Thai Yoga massage, is a therapeutic form of traditional Thai bodywork that integrates assisted stretching, joint mobilization, and acupressure along the body’s energy lines, or sen. Performed fully clothed on a floor mat, this treatment supports natural alignment, improves mobility, and helps reduce chronic muscular tension.
This style is especially effective for promoting postural correction, restoring range of motion, and relieving areas of physical restriction. Slow, rhythmic pressure is applied along the sen lines to stimulate circulation, release fascial adhesions, and support the body’s energetic flow.
In addition to its physical benefits, Northern Style Thai Massage has a calming effect on the nervous system. The steady pace and deep pressure encourage parasympathetic activation, helping to reduce stress, regulate breath, and promote a grounded, relaxed state.
Each session at Triple Feather is tailored to your specific needs—whether you’re managing pain, recovering from injury, or looking to restore balance in both body and mind.
-
Jap Sen is a specialized form of Thai bodywork known for its deep, targeted pressure and focus on the body's nerve pathways and sen lines (energy channels). “Jap Sen” means “to grasp the nerve,” referring to the precise technique used to locate and release tension along muscular and fascial structures.
Rooted in the Lek Chaiya lineage, this method applies firm, rhythmic compression—primarily with the thumbs and palms—along the body's major lines of tension and structural imbalance. Unlike more flowing or general styles, Jap Sen work is highly specific, making it particularly effective for addressing chronic pain, postural dysfunction, repetitive strain, and limited mobility.
This style also engages the nervous system, helping to interrupt pain patterns, regulate the stress response, and support overall balance. While the work can be intense, it is always applied with care and precision, tailored to your individual needs and comfort.
At Triple Feather, Jap Sen sessions are grounded in traditional technique and adapted for modern bodies—making them ideal for anyone seeking deep, focused bodywork with lasting results.
-
Tok Sen is a traditional Northern Thai healing technique that uses a special wooden hammer and stick to deliver rhythmic, percussive tapping along the body’s energy lines (sen). This unique method helps to release deep muscular tension, improve circulation, and realign the body’s energetic flow.
The tapping creates gentle vibrations that penetrate through fascia and muscle layers, breaking up adhesions and promoting relaxation. Tok Sen is particularly effective for relieving chronic pain, stiffness, and tension caused by repetitive strain or postural imbalances.
At Triple Feather, Tok Sen is combined with mindful bodywork and stretching to support overall mobility and nervous system regulation. This treatment is ideal for those looking for a deeply restorative experience that addresses both physical discomfort and energetic imbalance.
-
Pa-Ka-Ma is a traditional Thai healing technique that uses woven cotton cloths to apply gentle traction, compression, and rhythmic pulling along the body’s energy lines (sen). This method helps release deep muscular tension, improve joint mobility, and enhance circulation.
The cloths provide controlled resistance to support natural postural alignment while promoting relaxation and increased flexibility. Pa-Ka-Ma is effective for relieving chronic pain, stiffness, and restrictions caused by postural imbalances or repetitive strain.
At Triple Feather, Pa-Ka-Ma is combined with mindful bodywork and assisted stretching to support nervous system regulation and overall physical balance. This treatment offers a deeply restorative experience that addresses both physical discomfort and energetic flow.
Ayurvedic Massage
-
Ashiatsu Massage, also known by its traditional name Chavutti Thirumal, is an ancient barefoot massage technique originating from South India. The name Chavutti Thirumal means “foot pressure massage,” highlighting the use of the therapist’s feet to deliver deep, broad, and precise pressure.
This unique style uses the therapist’s body weight to provide deep tissue release, targeting large muscle groups and connective tissues with smooth, flowing strokes. The technique is excellent for relieving chronic muscle tension, improving circulation, and increasing flexibility.
Ashiatsu’s deep pressure is both powerful and controlled, making it ideal for clients who prefer a firm, yet relaxing massage. The use of overhead bars helps the therapist maintain balance and adjust pressure for a safe and effective treatment.
At Triple Feather, Ashiatsu is offered as a deeply restorative experience that combines ancient tradition with modern therapeutic goals to enhance physical function and overall well-being.
-
Marma Massage is a traditional therapeutic technique similar to Ashiatsu but performed using the therapist’s hands. Rooted in the ancient healing systems of India, this method applies firm, sustained pressure to large muscle groups to release deep muscle tension and improve overall function.
Marma Massage follows the body’s energy pathways, running along the lines of the Ayurvedic meridian system, to help restore balance and flow within the body’s energetic and physical structures. The use of hands allows for precise control and varied pressure, enabling the therapist to target tight areas effectively and adapt the treatment to your unique needs.
This approach supports improved circulation, increased flexibility, and relief from chronic pain and stiffness. At Triple Feather, Marma Massage offers a holistic treatment that balances physical release with energetic alignment, supporting greater mobility and overall well-being.
Chinese Bodywork
-
Cupping Therapy is an ancient healing art with roots in traditional Chinese medicine. Using specialized cups to create gentle vacuum suction on the skin, it helps to increase blood flow, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and release toxins from deep tissues.
Historically, cupping has been used to treat muscle pain, inflammation, respiratory issues, and energy imbalances. In Chinese medicine, it’s often applied along meridian lines to enhance the flow of Qi (vital energy) and restore balance.
Cupping is often integrated with deep tissue massage, combining suction and targeted pressure to release muscle tension, break down adhesions, and improve mobility.
Temporary circular marks may appear, showing increased circulation and healing. This therapy complements traditional bodywork by promoting relaxation, reducing pain, and supporting overall well-being.
At Triple Feather, we combine expert cupping therapy with personalized deep tissue massage to help you achieve lasting relief, restore balance, and enhance your vitality.
-
Scraping Therapy (Gua Sha) is a traditional healing technique originating from East Asian medicine, where it has been used for centuries to promote health and prevent illness. Using a smooth-edged tool, the skin is gently scraped in long strokes to stimulate blood flow, release muscle tension, and encourage lymphatic drainage.
At Triple Feather, I combine gua-sha with deep tissue massage for a targeted and effective treatment. Whether focusing intensively on the neck, back, and shoulders or providing a full-body lymphatic treatment, this combination helps break down muscle adhesions, reduce inflammation, and assist in detoxification.
In traditional Chinese medicine, gua sha is believed to move stagnant Qi (vital energy) and restore balance within the body. Temporary red or purple marks, called “sha,” often appear as signs of increased circulation and healing.
This therapy honors ancient wisdom while supporting your body’s natural ability to heal and maintain overall well-being.
Elemental Massage
-
Hot & Cold Stone Massage is a therapeutic treatment that uses heated and chilled stones to provide contrasting sensations that promote deep relaxation and physical healing. Warm stones are placed on key areas to soothe muscle tension, improve circulation, and enhance energy flow. Cold stones are used to reduce inflammation, calm nervous system activity, and invigorate the body.
This combination of hot and cold therapy helps to balance the body’s temperature and stimulate the nervous system, encouraging faster recovery and overall well-being. The alternating sensations also aid in releasing chronic pain and enhancing mobility.
At Triple Feather, Hot and Cold Stone Massage offers a deeply restorative experience that harmonizes physical and energetic health through the healing power of temperature therapy.
-
Warm Bamboo Massage is a deeply soothing and restorative treatment that uses heated bamboo sticks to deliver firm, flowing strokes and targeted pressure. The warmth of the bamboo combined with the rolling and kneading techniques helps to melt away muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation.
This massage is especially effective for releasing tight muscles and enhancing overall mobility and flexibility. The warmth penetrates deeply, encouraging better blood flow and easing stiffness throughout the body.
At Triple Feather, Warm Bamboo Massage offers a nurturing experience that combines the benefits of heat therapy with skilled manual techniques to support physical recovery and restore energetic balance.
Abdominal Therapy
-
Chi Nei Tsang is a deeply therapeutic form of Taoist Abdominal Massage that focuses on clearing physical and emotional tension held in the abdomen—the body’s energetic and digestive center. Rooted in ancient Taoist healing traditions, Chi Nei Tsang works with the internal organs, breath, and energy flow (Qi) to support both physical detoxification and emotional release.
Using gentle yet precise touch, the therapist works directly on the belly area to help unwind congestion in the organs, promote healthy digestion, improve circulation, and stimulate the body’s natural detox pathways. It's especially helpful for issues like bloating, digestive discomfort, menstrual pain, and chronic emotional stress stored in the gut.
Chi Nei Tsang is not just physical—it’s also energetic. In Taoist philosophy, the abdomen is seen as the storage place for unresolved emotions. By bringing awareness and healing touch to this area, we begin to unravel held tension and restore a sense of inner balance and vitality.
At Triple Feather, I offer Chi Nei Tsang as a stand-alone session or as part of an integrated healing treatment, helping you reconnect with your center and restore harmony to your entire system.
